Composer Theodore Shapiro relied heavily on guitar and percussion, with the backing of a full orchestra, to capture a contemporary urban sound. He ultimately wrote 35 minutes of music

for the film, which was performed and recorded by the Hollywood Studio Symphony, 

conducted by Pete Anthony.

There are 2 releases of the score that differs in title tracks naming and total time playing. One of them, released by RSW Records offers 'The Devil Wears Prada Suite' as a bonus track.
