NOTE: Before you point your finger that shipping Meryl on Meryl (like here Miranda/Donna and Miranda/Jane; there are even more, i.e. Miranda/Clarissa, Miranda/Lisa etc. I've read over the years) is weird, odd or other OMG's - it has nothing to do with Meryl as a person!

It's all about the characters only!

Yes, they both are portrayed by Meryl and it's her fault we fell in love with them (just kidding, of course), I am just using the metaphor to understand the reason behind those stories. I know that those characters are visually stuck in our head with Meryl's face and might cause a problem to separate it (I can understand that) however, there's no need to be mean or making fun of the writers. You know, not everybody is ecstatic about MirAndy - and though on the other hand this fandom seems weird to us we still respect you! So be kind enough and respect others too!
There's a room for everyone so if you don't like it, leave it - each to their own. That's all!
